Zamalek officials say the Court of Arbitration for Sport has rejected the urgent part of the club’s request to temporarily suspend its disciplinary registration ban.
A source inside the club explained that Zamalek submitted an urgent request to freeze the sanction alongside the official appeal, but the court did not grant that temporary relief.
The club added that the appeal itself is still ongoing and a final ruling will be issued at a later date after the legal process is completed.
