Former Zamalek star Tarek Yehia offered a different take on the refereeing debate that followed the club's defeat to USM Alger in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
Yehia said the penalty awarded to USM Alger was correct in his view, arguing that Zamalek were not wronged by the referee in the key incident despite the frustration that followed the match.
At the same time, he insisted Zamalek are still capable of turning the tie around in Cairo, saying the team has enough quality to score three goals in the return leg if it plays with the required personality in front of its supporters.
