Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports officially announced the completion of grass installation and planting at the main pitch of Al Masry’s new stadium in Port Said as part of the country’s sports infrastructure development plan.
The ministry said the work was carried out in line with approved technical and engineering standards, using a hybrid grass system that combines natural and synthetic elements to improve durability and pitch quality.
This marks an important step in the preparation of the new stadium, especially as several other elements linked to broadcasting, lighting and technical services continue to be completed.
The project remains a major priority for the executing authorities, with the aim of delivering a venue that matches Al Masry’s stature and serves its supporters in the best possible conditions.
The next phase is expected to focus on final operational and finishing work as the stadium moves closer to full readiness.
