Saudi Arabia are preparing to begin their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign against Uruguay in Group H, with the match scheduled for June 15 at Miami Stadium.
According to pre-match projections, head coach Georgios Donis could use a 4-2-3-1 shape, relying on Salem Al-Dawsari and Firas Al-Buraikan to lead the attacking plan.
The expected lineup includes Mohammed Al Owais in goal, with Nawaf Boushal, Hassan Tambakti, Ali Lajami and Saud Abdulhamid in defence. Musab Al Juwayr, Mohammed Kanno, Abdullah Al Khaibari, Nasser Al Dawsari and Salem Al Dawsari are expected to operate behind striker Firas Al-Buraikan.
The fixture is a demanding opening test for the Green Falcons against Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay, who have major midfield and attacking names such as Federico Valverde and Darwin Nunez.
No major confirmed absences have been officially announced, while World Cup matches in the Middle East and North Africa are carried by beIN SPORTS under its announced coverage plans.
