Fahmi Belhaj, the lawyer of Salah Mosaddek, said the case against Zamalek includes two main parts: the player's unpaid financial dues and the disciplinary consequences resulting from non-payment.
According to the lawyer, Zamalek have filed an appeal against the sanctions, but that appeal does not currently suspend enforcement, meaning the player must still be paid unless the dispute is resolved.
He added that the door remains open to a legal or amicable settlement if the club shows real intent, which could help bring the dispute to an end in the coming period.
