Tunisian defender Saif Teka said Ahmed Sayed Zizo wronged himself by moving to Al Ahly, arguing that the player had already given everything to Zamalek before starting a new challenge that needs time to settle.
Teka added that Zizo still has the quality to regain his best form for both Al Ahly and the Egypt national team, stressing that the adaptation period is natural given the scale of the move and the pressure around it.
When asked to name the best players in the Egyptian Premier League at the moment, Teka picked Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet and Emam Ashour, saying the pair stand above the rest.
His comments come as Zizo continues to search for rhythm in his new environment, while Trezeguet and Emam Ashour remain among the most influential performers in the league this season.
