Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Como for the permanent sale of Nico Paz, allowing the young Argentine midfielder to continue with the Italian club rather than returning directly to the Spanish capital.
According to Spanish and Italian reports, the deal is worth around €60 million, while Real Madrid are expected to retain a future buy-back option close to €80 million and maintain a degree of control over the player's path.
Paz's wish to stay at Como was a significant factor, particularly with regular minutes at Real Madrid likely to be difficult amid strong competition in midfield and attacking positions.
The agreement gives Real Madrid a major financial return from an academy product, while Como secure an influential player for their sporting project under Cesc Fabregas.
