Olise surprise: Real Madrid eye huge bid as Bayern resist

European reports link Michael Olise with Real Madrid, but Bayern Munich remain determined to keep him.

Michael Olise has returned to the centre of transfer speculation after reports suggested Real Madrid could make a major move for the Bayern Munich winger in the upcoming transfer window.

According to European reports, the Spanish club are considering a huge bid worth at least €150 million, with the potential move linked to Florentino Perez's election pledge to pursue a record signing from a Champions League club.

However, the deal should not be treated as advanced or completed. The same reports indicate that Bayern Munich have no intention of selling Olise, who is under contract with the German champions until 2029.

The surprise element is that Perez publicly denied Olise was the unnamed target in some of his remarks, before several media reports again placed the French winger among Real Madrid's possible priority names.

The situation remains open, as a transfer of this scale would still require the player's clear willingness, Bayern's approval and an official Real Madrid offer, none of which has been confirmed at this stage.
