Zamalek coach Motamed Gamal voiced his frustration after his side lost 1-0 to Algeria's USM Alger in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final, saying the technical staff had targeted either a win or at least a draw in Algiers.
Gamal said he did not want to focus too much on refereeing, but admitted he was puzzled by several decisions, especially the disallowed goal for Adi Dabbagh in a match ultimately settled by a late penalty for USM Alger.
The Zamalek boss added that his team still has a chance to recover in the return leg in Cairo and stressed the need to regroup quickly before the decisive second leg.
