Morocco U17 will begin their title defence at the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted in Morocco from May 13 to June 2 with 16 teams taking part.
The Atlas Cubs have been drawn in Group A alongside Tunisia, Egypt and Ethiopia, setting up a demanding Arab-heavy group in the race for the knockout stage.
Morocco open their campaign against Tunisia on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 20:00 local time at Stade Moulay Hassan in Rabat.
The hosts then face Ethiopia on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 20:00 local time, before closing the group stage against Egypt on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the same kick-off time.
This edition carries added importance as the competition also serves as a pathway toward Africa’s qualification places for the 2026 FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar.
