Argentina maintained their perfect start to the 2026 World Cup with a 3-1 win over Jordan in the final round of group-stage matches.
Giovani Lo Celso and Lautaro Martinez put Argentina in control before Lionel Messi came off the bench and scored a superb late free kick.
Jordan replied through Mousa Al-Taamari, keeping their attacking presence alive in their debut World Cup campaign despite exiting at the group stage.
The victory gave Argentina three wins from three and sent them into a Round of 32 meeting with Cape Verde in strong form.
