Al Masry midfielder Mohamed Makhlouf has revealed that there are talks over a possible move to Al Ahly, stressing that the contact has not been direct with him but through his agents.
Makhlouf said in televised remarks that Anis Boujelban did not speak to him personally, but contacted his representatives regarding a recommendation to Al Ahly, adding that the matter remains at the discussion and follow-up stage.
The player added that he has one season left on his Al Masry contract, which means any possible transfer would require a formal negotiation path between the clubs rather than only interest or media speculation.
Makhlouf also underlined his respect for Al Masry and the club’s supporters, saying the team played an important role in building his name and giving him the chance to develop.
