Zamalek's Egyptian Premier League title celebration featured a striking scene as the league trophy was transported to Cairo International Stadium by helicopter at the end of a season decided in the final round.
According to media reports, the trophy was moved by air because the title race remained open between Zamalek, Pyramids and Al Ahly until the closing stages, before Zamalek sealed the championship with a 1-0 win over Ceramica Cleopatra.
The Egyptian Pro League confirmed Zamalek as Nile League champions for the 2025-26 season after the team reached 56 points and claimed the title for the 15th time in the club's history.
The helicopter arrival added a memorable ceremonial touch to a tense campaign, with the trophy reaching Cairo Stadium ahead of its presentation to the champions amid major fan celebrations.
