Jackson Muleka moves to terminate Konyaspor contract

Jackson Muleka has reportedly moved to terminate his Konyaspor contract over four months of unpaid wages.

Turkish media reports have revealed that Congolese forward Jackson Muleka has taken formal steps to terminate his contract with Konyaspor over delayed salary payments.

According to the reports, the player has filed a request with the Turkish Football Federation to end his deal unilaterally after allegedly not receiving his wages for the last four months.

Muleka joined Konyaspor last summer after leaving Saudi side Al Kholood, returning to Turkish football after his previous spell with Besiktas.

The striker has played 34 matches for Konyaspor in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists, according to media reports.

The final outcome will depend on the legal process in Turkey, but a contract termination could open the door for fresh interest in the player in the coming period.
