Ibrahim Hassan reveals details of Egypt friendlies against Russia and Brazil

Ibrahim Hassan has confirmed the dates and venues of Egypt's friendlies against Russia and Brazil before the 2026 World Cup.

Egypt national team director Ibrahim Hassan has confirmed an agreement for the Pharaohs to face Russia in a friendly on 28 May as part of the side's build-up to the 2026 World Cup.

The match against Russia will be played at 9pm Cairo time at Misr Stadium in the New Administrative Capital before the squad travels to the United States on 30 May.

Hassan also revealed that Egypt will play a final warm-up match against Brazil on 6 June in Ohio, as the coaching staff looks to raise the team's competitive readiness ahead of the tournament.

The announcements form part of Egypt's final preparation plan for the World Cup, with the national side aiming to arrive at the competition in peak condition.
