Hussein Abdel Latif, head coach of Egypt's 2009-born national team, has announced the final squad for the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The list includes 26 players for the tournament, which is scheduled to kick off in Morocco on May 13, as Egypt prepare for a serious challenge on the continental stage.
The squad features three goalkeepers, a core of domestic talents and several foreign-based players, including youngsters playing in the Netherlands, the UAE, Italy and the United States.
The coaching staff will hope the campaign reflects the progress of Egypt's youth sector after securing qualification and continuing preparations in recent weeks.
