Zamalek vice-president Hesham Nasr said the club expect to obtain their African license within the next few days, an important step ahead of continental participation in the new season.
Speaking in media comments, Nasr said Zamalek's management is working to complete the licensing requirements, including the administrative and financial details needed to finalise the process.
The African license is a key condition for clubs taking part in CAF competitions, as it is linked to regulatory, administrative, financial and sporting criteria that must be met before participation is officially approved.
Zamalek hope to close the file quickly so the team can focus on technical preparations, transfers and the continental squad list, with African competition carrying major importance for the club and its supporters.
The final official announcement is still awaited, but Nasr's remarks indicate confidence within the club that the file is close to being settled within days.
