Former Nigeria goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi believes Mohamed Salah has a strong personal motivation to make a major impact with Egypt at the 2026 World Cup.
Akpeyi said the Egyptian star wants to leave a lasting mark with the national team before international retirement, especially if this tournament turns out to be his last with Egypt.
He added that Salah still has the experience and ambition required to lead Egypt on the world stage despite recent injuries and pressure.
