pThe FIFA Disciplinary Committee has announced a new set of sanctions relating to incidents at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, involving the Argentine Football Association as well as several players and officials./ppArgentina's federation was fined a total of USD 321,000 for multiple disciplinary breaches and ordered to play its next two home matches with attendance limited to 50 percent, with part of the sanction suspended subject to a probationary period./ppFollowing incidents at the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19, Leandro Paredes received a 10-match suspension and a USD 90,000 fine, while Nahuel Molina was banned for seven matches and fined the same amount./ppThiago Almada was suspended for one match, Roberto Ayala for three matches and Pablo Martin Paez Gavira for one match.
