An Al Masry source has clarified the situation surrounding Omar El Saei, the Al Ahly midfielder currently on loan at the club, as the season nears its end.
The source said there are currently no negotiations with either Al Ahly or the player himself to extend the loan for another season, despite the club's appreciation of his quality and its desire to keep him for as long as possible.
That means the reports claiming El Saei asked to stay with Al Masry are not backed, for now, by any active negotiating process, with the matter seemingly postponed until formal talks begin.
