Al Ahly’s planned hearing to review the VAR audio from the Ceramica Cleopatra match failed to go ahead after the club’s delegation left the Egyptian Football Association headquarters without listening to the recordings linked to the controversial incidents.
According to Egyptian media reports, the EFA insisted on limiting attendance to a specific number of representatives who met the previously announced procedural conditions, while Al Ahly arrived led by Sayed Abdel Hafeez to follow the case.
Abdel Hafeez later objected to the way the session was organized, saying in media remarks that Al Ahly believe they have the right to attend in a manner that protects the club’s position, while the matter remains under review pending any new official response from either side.
