Al Ahly’s delegation arrived at the Egyptian Football Association headquarters to attend the hearing related to the VAR audio from the controversial Ceramica Cleopatra match in the Egyptian league.
According to Egyptian media reports, the delegation was headed by Sayed Abdel Hafeez as the club sought to follow up on its request to review the officiating communication tied to the disputed incidents.
The EFA had already set a procedural framework for attendance before the meeting, while Al Ahly entered the session insisting on their right to review the recordings. Events later developed and the hearing was not completed.
