Al Ahly announced that it has filed a report to the Public Prosecutor as well as an official complaint to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation against Modern MTI channel.
In its statement, the club said the legal move was prompted by what it described as false reports about Al Ahly and inaccurate claims related to the club's internal management.
The escalation comes after media discussion surrounding alleged internal tensions and dissatisfaction among club officials, claims Al Ahly fully denied.
The case is expected to remain under legal and media review in the coming period as the club insists on defending its official position.
